 1) Alan Louis Charles Baron (seit 1976), britischer Historiker, * Trowbridge 13. 12. 1914; während des Zweiten Weltkrieges als Korrespondent für den Europadienst der britischen Rundfunkgesellschaft BBC tätig; lehrte seit 1945 an der Universität Oxford, deren Vizekanzler er 1969-73 war. 1954-78 Mitglied und Vorsitzender des Forschungskomitees des Königlichen Instituts für Internationale Angelegenheiten (Chatham House), Mitbegründer und 1960-80 Rektor des Sankta Catherine's College in Oxford; zusammen mit F. W. Deakin Herausgeber der »Oxford History of modern Europe«.

 2) Sandra, amerikanische Schauspielerin, * Washington (District of Columbia) 26. 7. 1965; nach einer Schauspiel- und Gesangsausbildung übernahm Bullock zunächst Bühnen- und TV-Rollen, bevor sie seit Anfang der 90er-Jahre in Filmen auftrat. International bekannt, v. a. mit den Filmen »Speed« (1994), »Während du schliefst...« (1995) und »Die Jury« (1996) stieg sie in die Starriege Hollywoods auf.
